You have 6wd for the bad road conditions.
Plenty of wheel base for good stability.
Good wide tires for corner traction.
You sit in the middle like a McLaren F1.
A cockpit that is un-cluttered for the maximum driving experience..
It has a 65 ton winch so you won’t be able to not help any stranded car.
The flat bed it 35' long, so no load be too small.

Those are some big numbers on the listing but how is a 15 year old piece of equipment still worth almost 2/3 of a million.

I couldn’t find any others with this same “bed truck” configuration, but the same Cat 740 line as a dump truck costs less than a third on average for the same year. Heck, a 2011 with fewer hours than this was basically half this price.
It does look like they don’t make this configuration anymore. Maybe that has kept the prices higher.

I looked them up too and found the same thing. It could be undercarriage that also rises the cost because it’s meant for such a specific tasks that would only be needed up in the North, seemingly.

Breakover angle looks a bit iffy. Might consider a SWB version, lest you get hi-centered on some railroad tracks while trying to escape from the zombies.

That’s a monster. Do the front wheels turn, or is all steering via the articulation of that hinge?

Fixed front axle, it articulates.
